B.O.B GB Fiat br20 cicogna in 1/72 finished

Hi all heres the finished Italeri FIAT br20 in 1/72 . The Cicogna ( pronounced ‘ chick -on -ya ‘) was considered very modern on its introduction in 1936 but by 1940 was being overtaken by the rapid developments in aircraft design and considered obsolete by some . Despite this it soldiered on till the wars end with over 500 being produced . Finished as an aircraft of the 43 stormo based in Belgium in 1940. This particular aircraft was involved in a raid on Harwich in November 1940 .thanks to paul for suggesting this GB , as always comments criticisms etc welcome. Cheers tony

A beautiful finish Tony, a real work of art as I mentioned in your build thread. That camouflage pattern is exquisite

I don't know about a masochist, but you really should get those nice young men in their clean white coats to check you over!

Just realised after looking at the pics I missed removing a bit of masking on the canopy . Its now been removed and while I was at it I took a pic of the underside

Great job Tony on a nice looking aircraft. . This camouflage over southern England must have made a fairly obvious target ! And as for the mid upper turret, oh yes, we'll highlight him in yellow.
