    Window decals problem

Hello. I'm building the Revell Ed Force One in 1/144 and have a question about the decals that go over the windows. Since this model doesn't come with the interior strips of clear plastic to simulate the window panes, I glued a strip of opaque plastic to the inside of the fuselage. The problem I have is when applying the decals that simulate the window outline, as they would sink into the gap. Could Micro Kristal Klear be a solution?

I use Krystal Clear for a variety of purposes. It does what it says on the box, dries absolutely clear and is used extensively for making up small windows on models. If you havent used it before just place a small amount, similar to the amount you would need for the window, onto a non porous surfice and let it dry. That way you will get an idea of what the finished item will look like.

Thank you all very much for your prompt response. Kristal Klear is in charge. I'll try it as soon as it arrives.
