    1977 Ford Pinto

A dear friend of mine who was murdered in our senior year, actually had one of these vehicles all during high school. I had to make it look just like hers. Click image for larger version

Nice looking model. Didn't the Pinto easily burst into flames? Cost Ford a fortune in lawsuits?

Bursting into flames is definitely not the best selling Point!

Position of gas tank was a cause of fires in some rear collisions as I recall.

Lovely build of a much maligned vehicle.

A very close personal friend of mine drove one of these in high school. She was murdered our senior year. I built this car in her memory. The only difference is mine is lowered in the front. Everything else is exactly the same.
