T700 DIY Turboshaft Engine Model
Just wrapped up this build after about three hours on the bench — and honestly, I’m pretty pumped about it. There’s just something super satisfying about seeing all the little parts come together and finally watching it run.
This one’s extra special to me because it’s based on the turboshaft engine used in the Black Hawk — easily one of my favorite helicopters. I’ve always been fascinated by how compact and powerful these engines are. Getting to build a working model of one feels like a mini dream come true.
