Here are the final photos of my now completed diorama, using my Italeri Commando Car and scratch built forest/woodland diorama base, the scenario being a small fuel/ammo dump, with the car and a few suitable figures in place.
Base was basic 5mm foam board.
Ground cover was formed using off cuts of foam board, mod podge, Ammo Acrylic Mud, and Deluxe fine filler, all topped off with PVA then primed and painted and static grass and various small vegetation and rocks placed. Then few scale trees were added and various ground pigments applied and fixed in place with scenic spray.
One figure was included with the car, the others were obtained via Ali Express and were resin figures, (the bearded passenger and the two troopers) which were washed, sanded, primed, painted and weathered, using mostly Tamiya acrylics brush painted and Ammo/Mig pigments and washes.
