    RAF Bentwaters Control Tower model

    Howdy Guys,

Well, I was thinking about the post with the Airships and how they were part of the UK's history. Then I remembered that I had seen a model of the RAF Bentwaters control tower that was in use between 1944 to 1993.

And since I am kinda' stuck on Historical models right this minute, I thought I would share the link to the model with ya'll. It is in 1:100 scale, but being a card model, you can rescale it to what ever scale you desire providing you know a little math. If you need help, I can provide a formula that will allow you to rescale any model to any other desired scale.

Anyway, here is the link to the download : http://home.earthlink.net/%7Eeellbee/index.html I thought this might make an attractive part of a diorama.

You will also find a few other models there including a model of the "scratch built plane from the movie "Flight of the Phoenix" as well as two tractors, a 1953 dodge truck model, and a Lockheed AQM-60 missle and trailer.

Below are a few photos from the website of the models.

    Have a good day,

    Greg aka GW
