Finally went to the opticians today having suffered blurred vision for months. The cause? My glasses!
My eyesight has improved over the last year or so and is now back to 20/20, so my old glasses have actually been making my sight worse.
20/20 is supposed to be pretty good right? So how come I need 3 - count them - 3 pairs of glasses? A pair for long (driving and TV), intermediate ('puter) and short (reading). While there I ordered a magnifying pair for close up stuff. I got one of those overhead magnifiers but I find I keep knocking the end of my paintbrush against it. Maybe simple glasses will be better. (I did have an optivisor many moons ago, but I never really settled with it. I found it awkward and uncomfortable after a relatively short time wearing it. It also didn't help that the two lenses were different magnification! I had to keep moving my head to find which eye worked best!)
Good job I got a stash to choose from for my next project - can't afford any kits for a while!
Maybe I really will be able to do the dust caps on those 1/333 cars I bought!
