Splashed out on a kit I’ve had my eye on for a while now, it arrived yesterday and boy is it a big box. Tamiya 1/32 F16 CJ with lots of extras too. Only had a quick look at the contents but it looks impressive. I popped the 1/48 box down with it.

Interesting Dave. Wonder how the Spitfire would do in the Schneider trophy

Well, the Macchi M.C.72 still holds the record for the fastest piston engined seaplane, at 440 mph, set in 1934, so probably not that well!! :tongue-out2:

300 4.5mm stainless steel ballbearings, and I am slowly putting one in each of my jars of acrylic paint.

Rick (minime) sold me this some time ago & I just opened it up. I think because he hates resin more than I & offered it to test my patience. It is a Trident offering & I didn't have high expectations, but it appeared to be better than any I'd seen. It looks very good. A turned gun barrel & a lot of PE. No box art but a contents & instruction sheet. Some breakage & molding gaps, but not too bad. Molded on tools, but removal should be easy. All in all not looking bad at all.

Better you than me....I just don't have the patience for resin kits, that is unless I'm really wanting to do a particular model. I hope you make a good job of this Paul.... I'll continue to hold out for one in plastic. Rick H.

Not really models related but gets used a lot for keeping an eye on you lot.
Bought a Samsung tablet to replace my piece of oop: iPad mini.

So I've been using MIG bottles, just found these......bit of a saving. See if they are any good when they arrive.
                              That's for 100 of them.

I've been using them for years. Great for keeping your own 'blend' of colours and washes in.
