I bought the Badger model 100LF side-feed air-brush from their "garage sale" page on the web. Here is what one gets for $41.00US delivered.
Contents of the postal "Priority Mail" shipping box:
The foreground items are 4 compressor feet ($1US ea) to upgrade my Badger 180-11 ($30USD at the flea market!) and a new intake filter ($3USD) combined with the $41 for the brush to save shipping on a separate parts order.
Contents of the air-brush plastic bubble-bag pack (includes a pair of un-attached "the lawyers made us say this" tags):
And here it is, in all its glory:
Handle un-screws for access to needle adjustment:
And here's the (default) Fine tip:
The crown is removable for getting in really close, and the 1/16oz cup does not interfere; can be rotated to any position required. Should be a while of practicing with food-coloring on a paper-towel before I actually run any paint through it, and discover the real "joys" of cleaning a fine, internal-mix airbrush!
Still a bit excited at the new acquisition, but had to cancel and re-order a regulator, as Amazon emailed me finally that they were out of stock (waited until the delivery due date to do so)! Have a 5 gallon tank paid for and waiting at our local Sears store, need to go to HF and get cheap poly coiled paint-gun hose (for cooling air between compressor and regulator/tank input) and fittings.
So, it's still a week to go before I can play with the new toy; :darn:
Regards, John
