ID:	1267093 whilst waiting for the glue to dry on the HMS Prince I have cracked open another one of my kits which I’ve been collecting for the past two years that being U 96 from Das Boot but this time this is not the wooden one that I built previously this is an all singing all dancing electronic one along with an incredible amount of detail so I think it probably deserves a post anyway I will start off with the very first piece which was the front of the bow
to start with there is very little one way of gluing anything it was all screws and clip together mostly but after stage four when we start doing an interior detail there is quite a lot of normal model building involved such as trimming from spruce sanding off the nibs Click image for larger version

ID:	1267092 and glue into place anyway enough of this waffle. Here are some pictures to show what I’ve done so far.
As you can see, there was quite a lot of wiring in this as well as this is going to feature moving dive planes I believe it’s gonna have an anchor that goes up and down rotating propeller blades and possibly although I haven’t got that far yet to know whether it is or not Periscopes go up and down as well
