    Paint removal

Well I started on a fujimi Toyota ae86 saloon. Unfortunately the paint reacted very very badly. However I have found out that soaking the entire body in Dettol removes the paint a treat. So managed to salvage the model after buying a replacement can of TS spray

I have used neat bleach (not coloured stuff) to remove the chrome paint/coating off a model in the past, (leaving it overnight), so I assume it would work with paint? But not tried it....

I couldn't believe how well it worked. I use oven cleaner to remove chrome plating. Only takes about 10 minutes

I have used Methylated spirits to remove paint from a model. It seems quite effective removing Acrylic paint but I’m not sure if it would work with lacquers 🤔
