And poor Fernando has to eat Hamburger Helper without the Hamburger for a month!!! I see you did manage to slip a few in there that I didn't catch. Yoda, the X wings, the 1/350 aircraft set and ladder sets. The ladders do look sweet though. Have fun My friend!!!!!!!

Well that was a shopping spree if their ever was, I was able to be part of this as Fernando and my good friend Dude 1 " Rocket Man Dewire " sorted out some tracks for me. Fernando kindly packed them up and has posted them off to me.
So to you two a big thank you, what a great couple of friends .:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:
John.

Allen and Fernando
You two will have to live on bread and water for the next 5 years to pay for that lot and probably live to 100 in order to build them all!:smiling:
Some great stuff which I am sure will find its way into blogs here for us all to enjoy.

I lost an aunt and uncle to one of those in WW2. Their daughter had been evacuated to my grandparents' house, so she was brought up like an older sister to me.

This lot came today, 0.2mm copper wire, water pens and plastic sanding needles.

Made them into my decal pens (Micro Set, Micro Sol, Water Pens and colour- coded)

Old Puffer Pete.

Hey Pete,

That's a really cool idea with the pens. I might have to nab that idea for myself Sir.

Evening all .
Some time ago Allen had offered to get me some Fruil tracks at the show.
This is what was delivered today, hot from the Show in the Netherlands. Dude 1 aka Allen " Rocket Man " Dewire and Fernando had kindly agreed to get these on my behalf at the show. What a deal they must have done to get them for such a good price.

Postie delivered this...................................View attachment 317691

It's the Accurate Miniatures Dauntless moulding, with masks, and a tiny PE seatbelt fret.
I've never been a fan of Academy's own tooling, but the reboxing of this, and the Vindcator - from the same stable, is excellent - and the price was good as well, a real plus

Did you two leave anything for the other visitors?

Hi Dave,

Yes, we left a lot for the others. I must admit that this show is a wallet killer, but in a good way. Make a list and try to stick to it. Fernando's list was much longer than mine. There are so many vendors and you can usually make a good deal too.

My list had one kit on it and it was a resin kit from Azimut. The kit's molds were not remade in time for Didier to bring it with. I don't need to add to the stash and therefore no other kits were on my list, just Accessoires, paint and tools. The V2 kit sorta slipped in there when I wasn't looking. If you ever get the chance, you have to check this show out...It's incredible!!!

something different as a gift.......a da Vinci clock.....that works!
