Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2019)

Id recommend this kit al , its a lovely looking thing , cheers tony
I'll be keeping an eye out for you building this. After doing the 1/72 I'd like a stab at a larger Hind. The 1/35 Trumpeter looks lovely but is many dollar!

I only went into town to pick up SWMBO from the hairdressers, but this cried out to me from the charity shop:P1150453.JPG
At £4 it would've been rude not to!
Pete

According to Scalemates, it was a new tool in 2016, with new parts added in 2017. Seems pretty new to me!

No idea Jakko. How can I tell, without opening the box?
By the product number, but then I could have looked that up myself and saved you the trouble :)

If you do open the box it’s easy to tell old Airfix from new: if it has rectangular sprues that enclose the parts, then it’s new, while if the parts are attached to sprues that only sit between the parts, it’s old. Well, that, and the general finesse of the parts :)

Early Christmas pressie.
Ordered these two from Keith at Victory Models.Lovely castings and great fit of parts.
Excellent details on the Hussar particularly.
Well pleased.

A minor setback in my "No Kit" rehabilitation, but for the prices, I couldn't resist (I'm weak) these two and one more…..

For €23 delivered and for a future project,

2 kits for the normal price of one. I just need one more!!! I'm not a normal fan of paper panzers, but for €28,91 delivered, I got this huge package,

Over 1100 parts and a modified Panther chassis (5 outer road wheels per side), it's a big one!!! A picture with my GB Stug IV box,

We'll talk about the Bailey bridge on Monday...…………...

My wife was doing a public performance with Rock Choir at Lakeside in Doncaster today so my son & I took the opportunity to stock up at The Works.

He bought just as much stuff and it was all we could carry. Pity as they had some big bottles of acrylic paint for £2 which would be great for diorama use. I think there's one nearer home so I might be paying a visit.

No prizes (sorry) for guessing what my bonkers postie (in shorts) has just delivered, a xmas pressie which i will not wait for :tongue-out3:

Brand new, paper still warm

Stug G GB 004.JPG

Excellent section on uniforms, now as i have lost weight that would fit me a treat :hugging-face: would get some looks in the shops :hungry:

Interesting to see the T34 (?) tracks on the front of the StuG....would make an interesting feature to model like that.

Went to work this morning and this was waiting for me...See, I wasn't kidding,

I just hope to get another one for €18,40 + postage!!!

We used to build these at least once a year to keep in practice. It normally wasn't in our job description as a 12B Combat Engineer, but good training. You just hoped you didn't get selected for the transom crew as they were heavy even for 8 people to carry. Panel crew was much better. Lay ho, heave!!!...……..

Sorry, flashback from an earlier time...……………….

Yesterday’s haul!

Let me guess Pete...one of these is going to be the Toontanic??? :tongue-out3: :tongue-out2::rolling:

Now you'll need some engineers & trucks to carry it all & install it Allen. Some M54s maybe? PaulE
