Scotties Humber Mk1

Very impressed with the rope marks on the tarp. Very realistic. Great to see the wet stuff on the build. Looking goooooood!

Looks great Paul.

I "liked" this earlier but wanted to get home and have a proper look at the pictures. Nice subtle variations in tone.

Andy,
Sorry missed your post thanks fella from someone as useful with an airbrush as yourself I'm glad you like it.

Very good paintwork on such a small subject Scottie. I am going to have to nick your stowage prep idea too :thumb2:

Morn Paul,

Top work on the stowage my friend. I think Michael will be proud when he sees it. I have to give that pre-shading thing a shot myself one day….

Super build and do you think you'll have her done in time for the show??? Sure to be a winner!!!

Paint is looking very good Paul, the pre shade comes through nicely, I find it tricky to get right. :thumb2:

Lee, Thanks mate it was more luck then judgement.

Allen, Thanks on the stowage I always enjoy doing this sort of thing. Given the slow progress I doubt it will be ready but if it is I will take it.

Just a little up date I have done a little more tonal work but my terrible photography hides it well. The decals have also been added. And a start was made on the MG.

Hey Paul, it shows up good on the rear deck and under the star. Decals and MG look great too Buddy!!! Keep her going...…..

Prost
Allen

Agree with young Mr DeWire there Scottie (pity the stowage will cover up the rear deck... :tongue-out3: )

Al,
Thanks mate. It's typical of me get the bits right that your not going to see. ;)

The detailing goes on. I have picked out the pioneer tools and added a pin wash made from diluted oil paint. I also added a tarp made from PVA a new technique to me link.
