I’ve been working on this for a little over two years thought I’d try to finish this thing up I’m leaning more towards the 1/32 scale due to the size and Limited space I have
The truck is a JMT promotional truck and the frame is a monogram 1/32 scale R Model Mack that I’ve modified and added the tanks to. The interior is zinc chromate green and the gearshift knobs or pale green enjoy the pics

Lee, nice looking rig. The cab appears to be die cast, the frame plastic. Are the Don Mills details cast resin or molded plastic? Looks like it will be quite the composite model when finished. Rick H.

2 years?? All good things come to those who wait. Thanks for sharing Lee and hopefully you will get it done soon. Looks a great model.

Rick. The cab is plastic this is not a First Gear Diecast these were rare promotional trucks with tanker trailers that gas stations gave out when First gear was at there glory. The Don Mills components are cast Metal the frame is a 1/32 Monogram Mack R model that I Customize. Thanks for stopping by and the complement.

Steve. Thanks for stopping by and the complement. Yes two years I hope to get this one off the bench soon. Those 1/25 scale trucks I’ve built for years just take up too much space and take forever to build.

That's looking the "DOGS" Lee. Do you have a load in mind for this more than capable machine?
Rick H.

Well you certainly breathed some life back into this old dog. It really is a cracking build Lee. Great stuff. It would be great to see it towing something

I think someone has enjoyed this build Lee. I know I have, agree with Rick about a load.

It’s been awhile since I’ve touched this build. I finally got a winch for it but was out of the mood when it arrived but I did get it painted and put on now I have to spool the cable and put some mirrors on and I’m calling it done. 36D5DE16-E04E-4E5F-9028-59D35C981E22.jpeg7D4BD25B-0C7F-49C1-B0FE-7DB5CA4D7C1C.jpeg821537A2-B8B9-4438-9374-5C0D5BF84326.jpeg

Hi Lee
You said in your first post back in 2019 that you had already been on the build for two years. Another two years have passed and it's done :hungry: :thumb2: :smiling:
Looks really good. Lovely finish.
If you start the trailer now you could have it done by 2025!!
Jim

Hi Lee.........I remember this one she's a real "Tuffy"! Don't forget the air horns. :thumb2: Rick H.
