Fantastic build joe , really makes me want to do one of these . The fiddly attachment of stores is a common problem that no makers have ever really solved . You think that someone would have come up with a better system than the current tiny contact point ? Ive often been frustrated at the end of a build by having to reattach stores again and again . Anyway rant over , top class work on the MiG , cheers tony
Cheers Tony, glad you like the MiG. Couldn't agree more about the weapons, I've had to do a few repairs to models over the years after they have dropped a bomb or missile after being bumped on the shelf. I did experiment once with drilling into pylons and fitting brass rods that slotted into holes created in weapons. Worked okay but very fiddly with no room for error.
Stunning work Joe. The paintwork and weathering are a top job mate. Brilliant result.
Cheers Steve, I'm quite happy with the paint job.

I have just realised that I have put the nose FOD guard on the wrong way; it should be on the rear of the front wheels. I'll correct it tomorrow before taking the photos for the complete thread.
