    The 3rd cockpit windscreen decal from the left says "Minicraft Kit". Hmmmmmmmm, other model kits of 707-321 make windscreens different from Minicraft?

    Here is my start, nose weight and fuselage halves glued up. Also an image from the internet of new Draw Decals for Air Force One in tail numbers 26000 and 27000. This set of decals is suppose to be delivered this Friday.

    I am starting this using the 1/144 Minicraft kit for Freedom One, same plastic as 1/144 Minicraft Air Force One VC-137C 26000 OOP kit using new Draw Decals for 26000 or 27000. Here is the boxing I am using and the boxing with the same sprues of Air Force One by Minicraft no longer available.

    Thanks, they definitely are a "work of art". I cut my teeth on Revell-Monogram from '63-'64. I still think their Thud is one of the best anywhere. Fuselage all glued up, only a teeny tiny hairline gap in a seam you'll never see.

    I took the tape off and Googled the amount of weight, a couple sites said 4 or 5 US pennies, about 10 to 15 grams. I used 21 grams of lead fishing weight.

    I put the cockpit, nose wheel well and wing spar in and taped the 2 fuselage halves together to see how the fit was, now to take the tape off and add nose weight then cement fuselage halves up permanently.

    Fixed headrest, instructions said paint all one color, only the actual headrest that hits the pilots helmet should be red! I shoulda known better! Senior moment!

    While waiting for the F-105D to show up I started work on my Dragon 1/200 B-52G, it will be in it's final scheme of overall gunship gray with an image of the Statue of Liberty on the tail. I have 16 grams of weight in the forward fuselage and have the fuselage halves glued up.

    Looks like it's coming along nice. I did that kit about a year ago in the Ukraine kit decals. It builds up nice and was an interesting paint scheme.
