Since returning from my holiday I have had 2 full build days doing decals and finishing off the dashboard. The (expensive) Cartograf decals were worth the extra money, beautifully in register, the correct colours and dimensions and laid down beautifully with Microsol used in several difficult...- Stefee

My uncle had a Mk2 Cortina 1600E in Aubergine with a black vinyl roof and a wood dash, heated rear window and radio. Lovely car until knicked and wrecked at 3 weeks old 😠- Stefee

. It's not as if she was still wearing them! Seriously lady's hosiery makes great paint trainers but if too fine a denier they will retain some metallic particles. -

Painted the offending area and it came out ok. The colour may be slightly lighter but with decals and clearcoat I think it won't be noticeable.- Stefee

Well I've got the rubbish decal off eventually, masked and primed the affected area. Hopefully get the blue on tomorrow before leaving for a week so it can fully cure. Fingers crossed there's no colour difference. Started fitting a few bits, the heat shield material is the inside of a Faje...- Stefee
