    Scorpion CVR(T) FV101 - 1:35st scale - AFV

Got chased up salisbury plain by one of these during an exercise a fair few years ago, the P.C. and me were doing a quick sneaky recce on a 'target' and all of a sudden one of these appeared from nowhere and made a direct run for us, it almost caught us as we floored the landrover we were...

    Scorpion CVR(T) FV101 - 1:35st scale - AFV

If memory serves I seem to think that fitting the tracks on Mrs L's scorpion did exactly what you've written, so they were left for a good couple of days after fixing with tamiys 'normal' glue to give a good solid bond.

    Scorpion CVR(T) FV101 - 1:35st scale - AFV

A lovely little build Peter. Mrs L made this same kit when it first came out, she finished it in the UN white colour, (I think it's still upstairs in the loft)

    RAF Pilot 1-32 Scale

Awesome Neil, I did look at this set when I built my 1/32 Spitfire by Kotare, ended up with a resin figure from somewhere on the web, however looking at this I could should have just bought this set instead.

Langy's Stolly..... Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart

Funny you should mention that, I've never been more nervous in my life than when I was removing those bits from the support struts, If i had one bit of feedback to ITA it would be to increase the size of the base plate a tad so the individual parts are spread out a bit more. Whilst removing...

Langy's Stolly..... Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart

Completed the pioneer tools fitted in the rear, I've created retaining straps with 1mm strips of Tamiya tape, and finally fitted the cab. Not much more to sort out before the final parts can be fitted and the weathering can begin.

Langy's Stolly..... Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart

Thanks buddy, it's been a pleasure to build so far, there's mainly just small niggles to deal with but nothing anybody would really struggle with... and we are our own worse critics when we strive for that bit higher level of 'realism' in a build.

Langy's Stolly..... Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart

Upgrade parts arrived this morning, looking forward to fitting these bad boys, ... (also working out the possibilty of removing the airfix 'water nozzles' and replacing with the new versions without risking too much damage to the 'hull'.)

Langy's Stolly..... Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart

I've also bought the ITA external upgrade kit, just awaiting delivery, ended up buying it mainly due to the brush guards on the airfix kit being shocking, I did try to open them up but the result was garbage, they were way to 'messy' once completed and the exhaust cover is a total insult , it...
