All done now I’m pleased to say 😊. After the last post I gave it a Matt clear coat ready for some dirt 🙂. I went a bit old school with the weathering and used a Flory clay wash. The benefit of using a Matt coat is it sticks a bit more which gives it more of a dirty look than just panel...- Geoffers

Glad you liked it 👍 Malta is on my places to visit list. I’ve been fascinated with the WW2 Malta campaign since I read the book “Malta Convoy” at school. James Holland did an excellent series with Al Murray covering this on their “We Have Ways” podcast. Geoff. -

Vent: I made a model plane that was really crap
I have given up and binned a kit now and then if it’s a particular pig. I’ll generally try to rectify faults but I’ve found sometimes when I press on it just becomes a mojo killer. You managed to practice with the decals so all was not lost. Life is just to short for bad kits 😔 Geoff. -

Well I’ve been making slow progress for one reason or another but have finally got it moving. Cockpit is completed with added PE parts. Once this was finally done it was time to sandwich it between the two fuselage halves. The fit is everything you would expect from Tamiya. Considering this...- Geoffers
