    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

Tell me about it! I have had an odd ‘bonging’ sort of alert from my car in the last few weeks and absolutely no idea what it is for, and I swear I have tried every possible option top track it down :) Thanks for the comments - I find there are a number of distinct stages with aircraft: - The...

    Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Zero type 32

That damage and the chipping looks perfect, not overdone and the base is really going to set this off. I may copy the Ikea lid version next time I do an in-flight (migs GB for sure and maybe the US icons too will be in-flight).

Papa695s 1/72 Airfix Hawker Typhoon Mk. IB

Looking really good and for all the surgery, very little need for filler.

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

I made a mistake with my CA - I’m using Green Stuff World and other works great with their nozzles - but last time I must have not cleaned the cap correctly - and now it is sealed :LOL: I’ll buy some more and at least I will have spare. There are a few pieces to add before masking...

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

And back to the A10 after completing the Spitfire. Added the Engines and Tail piece So it looks like an A10 now and it balances on the nose. Cockpit with the PE in

    Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Zero type 32

Looking good. Do you have a plan for the stand, just plain or some kind of background to look like the sae?

    Airfix B17G ‘ Pleasure Bent’

That is just superb, after market decals? I don’t recall that scheme in their recent boxings but maybe I just recalled differently. I’m not sure why but I just love the look of the B17’s more than Lancasters. How long does that take you to get something looking that perfect?

    You can't park there mate!

Looking good now. ‘So, tell me again, Friedrich here bet you a weeks cigarette ration that you would not be able to…'

    You can't park there mate!

That is looking excellent, now I know why I don’t do dioramas - because I can’t!

Westland Wessex HU.5 - 771 Naval Air Squadron (Royal Navy) - Italeri 1:48

Just four frets for a 1/48? Should be a nice straightforward build, none of the 7 frets with multiple pieces of the same part (speaking from very recent experience). Looking forward to seeing how this one comes along.

    Neils Eduard 1/72 Spitfire F Mk.IX - 90th Anniversary GB

Thanks to Colin for the suggested build, I was going to give this a miss but enjoyed seeing all the variations I had to add my own. This is the Eduard Spitfire F Mk. IX 1/72 - EN500, F/O Irving F. Kennedy, No. 249 Squadron, Qrendi, Malta, July 1943 A nice little kit, about the only problems...

    Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Zero type 32

Excellent work Steven, looking forward to seeing this in flight, definitely inspiring me to do my 'Tora Tora Tora’ which has two complete kits, in flight.

    Steve's Revell 1/48 Mosquito B Mk.IV

I admire your perseverance. My Revell Huey still sits in the bin under my bench as a reminder.

    Tidy, tidy, tidy 😀

Frankly that is a disgrace to the ‘I know there is a bench under there somewhere and I assure you I know where everything is’ club ethos. I was prepared to let you in as an executive member, but after this shocking revelation, you can rest assured that any such consideration will be terminated...

    1/48 ESCI Henschel hs 129

Good solutions to tricky problems Tony. It’s a funny old beast but you can see how the Warthog evolved from something like this - stick a big-ass gun up front and blow tanks up.

    Geoff’s 1/48 Eduard Spitfire Story - Spitfire Mk.I build.

They really do look painted on. Looking forward to the clear coat now which should make them really pop.

How long to make a standard model??

Ah yes, photo-etch! A whole new category of grief - but CA is your friend. When I first tried that I was using regular glue, then too much CA, then some weird little dropper things that I could never get the hang of. Now I am just about competent - well approaching competence at least. One day...
