I’m building this. Nice kit. Trying AK Extreme Metal paints for the first time, very nice paint and easy to use. I’ve spotted a bit of red over spray to rectify.- rickoshea52

Rebuilt my workbench
After several years since moving to my current abode I finally got round to sorting out my workbench. The MDF back panel has been fixed to the desk, I’ve reused stuff from my old bench; mostly Ikea storage rails, bins and shelves. Added lighting and hooks for tools etc. And yes, the spray booth...- rickoshea52

Rick’s 1/24 Airfix Hellcat
I’ve been dropping in and out of this build - slowly getting there. I’m trying MRP paints and paint masks for insignia for the first time. The painted on insignia looks great but there’s a few rough bits, the Top Notch masks are a bit too flexible but still effective.- rickoshea52

1/72 Airfix Sea King gift set. First post.
I’ve built one of these and two of the HC4’s in 1/72 scale. They’re really nice little kits but not without their “gotcha’s”; happy to see you dodged the HF aerial layout trap in the instructions. Like others, the 1/48 scale HAR3 can’t come soon enough for me.- rickoshea52

Top Notch paint masks - how to use?
I am slowly creeping along with a 1/24 Hellcat and at the painting stage. The scheme I have chosen is all over gloss blue with the Pacific theatre roundel and bar. For this scale of build I’m going to try painted on insignia instead of decals so have the Top Notch set. My question is whether to...- rickoshea52
