    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

Looking at colour swatches online - they really are very close. I only painted the light grey today so maybe it will cure and be more distinct, and adding in the gloss varnish may make them more distinctive. Of course, it could be that they really should be that similar. Next weekend is the...

Neils Tamiya 1/72 Republic P47D Thunderbolt ‘Razorback'

    Italeri Fairchild Thunderbolt A-10C ‘Blacksnakes'

It is one big bugger - I am going to need to rearrange some lego heads or put another shelf up when it’s done.

    Rick’s 1/72 Airfix Phantom FGR2 - in the hangar.

Wow, not seen this - I thumbsed up and then noticed the date. Very ambitious work but it’s going to look the business when complete I’m sure. I think I have the FG1/FGR 2 1/72 - but I think that will be as is - I was actually tempted to do it for the GB before I switched.

I thought I’d take a few pics with the new lightbox - just the first background and I haven’t fiddled too much with the diffuser and light temperature but they look better than usual method.
