    Looking for Ideas to make a mouse for the mainstay so far I have putty, shaped wood dowel, and being a x anlgler I thought a inline olivete as there the right shape any more ideas welcome :)

    Hi I don't get how they decide what to charge on and what not to I ordered some rope for my new ship from Canada total value £199.87 and got stung for £73 import charges, I also ordered some blocks and stuff from Canada also, value of £123 and got charged nothing for import? do they just drop on...

    I guess you can't see but all lower ratlines are done (not sorry)

    Home straight but again my back is complaining, so only did a few will finish the lower ratlines tomorrow. Had to get the coffee table out to lower the work surface which makes it a little easier :) 1197 clove hitch knots and counting :)

    Finished the mizzen shrouds and made a start on the ratlines but my back gave in so called it for today.

    That's great thanks John I think holding the yard in place might prove difficult while rigging it all........I may pin it :)

    Thanks John I haven't looked yet but wondering if the yards are pinned to the mast or fitted using the blocks?

    Had a bit of a rest but got back to it this morning this is the forth time I have rigged the mizzenmast due to a couple of mistakes I wasn't happy with (OCD) after the mizzen I will do some yards :)
