It always amazes me how figures suddenly become more "Lifelike" or "Human" once the flesh tones have been added. They have all been primed and had a first rough flesh coat added, to be tidied up later. I have also started on the US uniform colours. The "Ladies" will be suitably brighter in...- pjgtech

Vietnam Diorama - 1:35 - US troops/vehicles, etc
Still not decided on what to build exactly, but was playing around with few base boards, laying out vehicles, etc, then I remembered I had a bamboo type hut from an old Airfix Frontier Checkpoint set. NB: I had previously used the little checkpoint hut and checkpoint barrier in my Poor Bloody...- pjgtech

Both inside and outside have had first coats now... Also highlighted some minor details inside, seats, steering wheel, pedals, etc. Will deffo need at least another coat on both. Think I'll weather the inside a bit too before sealing it all up with the top chassis/body...- pjgtech

As part of my ongoing US Icons GB and an upcoming Vietnam Diorama that I will be building, I have a small selection of 1:35 scale figures that would be suitable for both these. I tend to just build a couple of figures at a time and place them as part of another build, but, as I have a fair few...- pjgtech

Was not sure about internal colour, but found a couple of websites which show a light green interior, see photo below. Anyone know what code this would be for Tamiya XF or Mr Hobby or Vallejo Model Colour paints? Cheers- pjgtech

Tried a dry fit of the the main body/chassis and all seems to go together quite well, maybe a bit of a gap at one end, but some laccy bands or a few clamps should sort that out once its glued. Then it was on to some primer, and then started some sub assemblies, eg: axles, fule drum and...- pjgtech

I have now started this one. Looks fairly simple build TBH, not a huge part count either, so the lower chassis is now complete. I think I will paint it up internally as I intend to try and have a few access panels open, so some will be visible. The instructions seem to only offer the hatches...- pjgtech

Yep, its a bit she-ite here too, we were away in Norfolk for the week, it was not too bad, but a mix of rain and cloud all week. We did what we wanted to do, so decided to come home a day early, so back home now. Rained on and off all the way home, Lol. When we got home, erm, yep, bit more... -
