Tamiya SAS jeep 1/35
Wheels on and I started to add all the gubbins . The various bags / water bottles , machine guns have had straps added , made from microporous tape - painted and cut into thin strips . All the crap thats going in the back has been painted up and I made another camo net roll with the bias binding...- yak face

Oh bugger , thanks for pointing that out mark . Something like that would be obvious to a regular armour builder ( ie. not me ! :LOL: ) I’ll have to see if I can add some and blend them in , now I’m aware of it , it would bug me to death if I didnt :LOL: cheers tony- yak face

Great rescue with the forks and headlight dave , its looking great now . Personally I would put the panniers on , its that classic electraglide look and the brake levers would definitely benefit from a couple of cables . Cheers tony- yak face

Vinted is very easy to use and is getting more popular . Ebay is also easier than it used to be and they both have good back up and protections for both the seller and buyer -

Started with the jerry cans on the bonnet and front wings , using some aluminium strip from the spares box . This was cut into varying widths and used to make a frame . I did exactly the same Tim ! Have to agree with you on the blades too . The swann morton blades are cheap enough ( John sells them in the shop £2.49 for a 5 pack or about £17 for 100) and as you say , you could never sharpen a blade as well as they come from the factory ( unless youve made your... -

Fantastic idea for a build Ian , its one of those ‘ you couldnt make it up ‘ stories . Amazing bravery by James , even more when you consider he was only just 22 years old at the time . All chipped and worn now and the underside and wheel arches/ wheels have had a wash with light dirt .I had a sand wash but I tried it and it was way too yellow , the light dirt gives it a nice dusty look . Next up is fastening all the crap on - but a fair bit of scratching is needed here, it...- yak face
