Thanks everyone for following and comments, I took Richards advice and have toned down the thatch using some grey and brown washes and also did my best to create a drooping straw edge at the bottom. Finally decided to take a stab at the roof.. was on the fence about the decision..also decided to add an old Sdkfz 2 kettenkrad to the mix. John, Just separation between layers. Think I’ve solved the problem. Some updates on the base.. starting the vegetation and started painting of the barn..still have the roof to put on but working on placement of everything at the moment. Thanks for watching and the compliments everyone- Strenko J
