I've been busy with the mast sections, and some fiddly bits I added the top section to the main mast, and made 8 little pyramids that fit onto the sides of said section. Then I started on the smaller hanger deck mast, and have managed to get the main body of that done, now I need to make 4...- Tworrs

The basic structure of the missile silos is pretty much done now. Then a pic of The Duke, with all the superstructure loosely fitted. There is still a lot of sanding and filling to do now, but she's taking shape. The deck is not fitted yet as I still need to figure out the electrics, but the hull has been filled, epoxy coated and undercoated. Photo dated 30 June Here is where I came to realise that the plans were not perfect, the frame drawing dims didn't match the deck dims, (and yes I checked it multiple times) which meant a lot of playing around to get it all to work. FUN ;)- Tworrs

Moving on to the beginning of June, I started assembling the frames in the keel, trying valiantly to keep everything in line. Then I flipped the whole thing over, to make sure everything lined up, which obviously it didn't, but I did manage to get right in the end. Till the next episode. Garry- Tworrs
