    Airfix 1/72 BF109 e-4

That's a great finish Tony, although, we'll need to change that famous line in the Battle of Britain. “Yellow nose bas$%&£s 6 o’clock high, coming down now”

    Airfix B17G 1/72 Milk Wagon.

A splendid result Farmerboy. To me, the B17 just looks right , and your build echos my thoughts.

A splendid job Tony. I'm sure I've said before how much I like these little Airfix kits.

Academy 1/72 Fairchild A-10A Thunderbolt II

It seems like this was a bit of a pain to build. Well, it doesn't look like it. The end result looks spot on.

    Hobbybos 1:48 F111-A Aardvark

Here's my first finish of 2026. OK, 99.9% was built in 2025 but I did try to re-attach a main landing gear door today, but it fell off again. This is the Hobbyboss 1:48 F111-A, and it's a bit of a beast. A big old beast. This has been on the slow burner for a lot of 2025, but here it is finally...

    90th anniversary, Hawker Hurricane's first flight 6th Nov 1935 Airfix Mk1 Hurricane

Done it, just in time. I actually thought it would be an easy finish, but you know how it is, just one more bit of detail here and there. It's the Airfix 1:48 Mk 1 Hurricane, finished in water based acrylics this time (I didn't have the correct MRP on the shelf) Airfix decals, which behaved...

    90th anniversary, Hawker Hurricane's first flight 6th Nov 1935 Airfix Mk1 Hurricane

Paint, we have paint. Unfortunately, I didn't have the correct MRP in stock so had to resort to some very old acrylic paints, which proved a bit of a pain to spray. Or maybe life is just so much easier with MRP, I've suffered acrylic skill fade. Anyway, when I could actually get the paint down...

    90th anniversary, Hawker Hurricane's first flight 6th Nov 1935 Airfix Mk1 Hurricane

Cheers chaps for stopping by. Well I wasn't expecting problems, but it turned out to be a real tight fit. Now, that looks like a Hurricane. The stbd wing root was perfect, the port had a small gap, easily dealt with by a small 'spreader' in the fuselage. Time for primer. Oh wait, masking...

    90th anniversary, Hawker Hurricane's first flight 6th Nov 1935 Airfix Mk1 Hurricane

A small update. Like many builds, we start with the cockpit. Well, the seat, then 'pit. Which fits into he cockpit, but still isn't part of the aircraft yet. The instrument panel does have a decal to use, but I just thought, highlighting the raise detail might look a bit better. The...
