Scorpion CVR(T) FV101 - 1:35st scale - AFV
My new build is from the AFV Club, in 1:35th scale and is the (fastest tank in the World at the time) mighty Scorpion. I love this tank, mainly cos when I was a nipper, I had the Action Man Scorpion tank and it was flipping great! Lol... I've built a few little tanks now, in 1:72/76 and in 1:144...- pjgtech

I had previously stated that there was no reference to the rear loading area square checker plate in the instructions, and I just assumed it would slot onto the top of the rear loading area. Done a bit more today.... Added some more texture to the base, some fine sand, small stones, etc, these will be built up in layers along with the base coverings and primer and paint. Desert Diorama - Featuring British ATMP x6 wheeler
Forgot to add that this is based on the late 80's, early 90's period in the gulf war(s) timeframe. So it could be Kuwait, or Iraq or Afghanistan? Its not specific, but I have another vehicle that I will be building that may also go on this dio and was in use at the same time as the ATMP...- pjgtech

Now that the ATMP x6 wheeler is done, it deserves a nice setting, so a small diorama is planned. This will be my first desert setting, so lots of sand, rocks, etc. I propose a small section of building, a small desert type dwelling/building of simple stone, etc. Then just a simple rough desert...- pjgtech

New craft site
Might be worth maybe adding a few links to anything on the new site that might be useful to us on here, eg: paints, fillers, etc or whatever that we may also use? -

@John Just to let you know, when I clicked on the above link, I got a "threat detected" message from my anti virus, (BitDefender) and when I clicked on the more info tab, it said the site had an expired certificate. No biggy, so I just added it to my exceptions list so it will not ping up... -

Freedom
Great news! Enjoy your retirement mate. I retired just under two years ago, but have settled into a nice routine. My one tip would be to keep yourself busy. Without "work" you lose that bit of routine and it would be easy to slip into just lounging around doing nothing, which, IMHO is not good... -
