Green it is… chassis is drab green and canopy is olive, she looks better painted but possible a bit dark i’ll see how it goes together and weather it a bit to bring out the details and add the final few parts simon- simontie

Well i tried to make some frame parts today for the canopy 1st plan was to put sockets inside and slip the rail in to these but that would leave a large gap between the inside and outer face of the curtain & cause an unsightly bulge all round, second plan was to drill through the top rail as is...- simontie

Well ready to prime the metal parts tomorrow or thursday carpel op seems to have gone well and good use of fingers just not to much!!! small batch of bits left to do but for the most part its complete cab shell to fit out and i still need to remake the rear canopy & covers (sheets?) but good...- simontie

Coming together well, lots of filing and sanding but looking okay (well in my opinion!!!) cab in place not fitted yet and rear cargo bed complete with the panel latches, rear door hinges and final picture with cargo cover and outer cab all just sitting in place, i need to come up with a...- simontie

Well I got serious with this over the last few days and have started construction!! chassis and front mud guard's drive shafts all in place along with exhaust and air tanks slow going but getting there, will push on this weekend due to the wonderful weather and Friday i have a carpel tunnel op...- simontie

Well i made it back to this build, twins are home and so is the six year old!!! She is fantastic but exhausting in a good way. so hopefully i can spend some more time on this build, today i just sat down and started tinkering cleaning a few bits as i went and removing some of the duplicate parts...- simontie

Hi all not much of an update but i have cleaned up the rear twin axle assembly & removed all the seam lines polished off the oxidisation and primmed it more to follow once i get the chance but due to a small family turning up unannounced its put the brakes on ..my daughter gave birth to twins...- simontie

Kawasaki KR500 Tamiya 14028
All done nice kit to build and went together nicely new decal’s worked a treat no big issues with these apart from me!!! Front number and plate need to settle a bit and the 8s ever so slightly askew.- simontie

Well been a busy boy this week, completed my build but cant assemble as the new decals havent arrived yet so in the meantime i built its little sister the KR500 couldn't complete this either due to the decal’s and green paint not being here but today the decals turned up so should be able to...- simontie

Bought this old kit a long time ago, fleabay i thinks:rolling: Listed as off 1981 original ref 1412, partly assembled well some one stuck the engine together but not badly so thats a bonus fairly retro bike very antiquated sprues in green :loudly-crying: Yep theres a set of forks in there...- simontie

Nicky Hayden’s 2003 Repsol Honda RCV211
Final as built from the box (well almost) only mods i have done were on the clutch and brake fluid bottle‘s everything else out the box Coloured in with zero paints these came out really well only small issue were 2 small decals for the front cowl the colours didn't quite match so i left them...- simontie

Evening all, well small progress frame is built and engine is fitted along with swinging arm, forks exhaust all the other bits, body work has been primed ang hopefully i will get the several other coats on it over the next day or 4 simon- simontie
