If anyone is still watching: Hmm The green was a bit to thinned out and has made splodges, Worked fine on the practice sheet... Might try to sort the offending patches out and re-do them.- Ian M

Spent an hour playing silly buggers with masking to day. Got the Grey down on the top surfaces- RLM 75 Grauviolett if you want the colour. I will look into the camo colour maybe next week... got a busy weekend...if the weather permits. (Hope you can see the photos!).- Ian M

A bit more paint today. (and yesterday) I need to paint the chrome legs yet but the inner side of the wheel covers painted RLM02 (a bit like the RAF grey green) The outsides in RLM76 pale blue. Well having stopped laughing at Garry's last comment I got some more done. bits waiting primer. I'm thinking of splashing out on some brass MG barrels ... A makeshift harness, droptank holder in place...Only a few knock off bits to go on... A nice easy canopy to mask! yeah. Off to find...- Ian M

Did a few bits here and there over the weekend and this morning. I got the wing built up and the wheel bay fitted inside. Quite a tight fit that needed a "helping hand" along the way. I also primed some parts that would need painting before they get put together, but Grey primer on Grey...- Ian M

Just in case others are able to follow along... Got a few more bits stuck together and a few holes drilled. I have a bit of sanding to do on three places, then its primer... :-) Almost as many parts in the drop tank and holder as there is in the rest of the fuselage lol.- Ian M

Well after a long week playing with planking and glue I have put the last plank of the first layer on the hull... Gaaaabbbbbb. The Stern, aft of the props has yet to be planked. Even steamed planks have been tried and trashed... It kind of like trying to plank a pool ball. Its about that size...- Ian M

Having got the side plank on for the gunwale I started on the combings around the openings in the deck, I guess If this ever gets out on the water, it would be a good idea to try keep the water on the outside! Well I had the house to myself today. (read I could do what I wanted). I got the decks down. Placed the cabin in t'hole and found I made a boo boo. I read a mark on the deck as a pencil line to show where not to plank... Can you guess where. lol. The deck has had a rough sand (sorry Jim lol)...- Ian M
