Well I am calling this done. I managed to get a bit of flat coat down yesterday and some photos today. So I am quitting while I'm ahead. This morning's walk in the garden was a nice cool and gentle stroll. Rewarding too! Our Wisteria is at 90% today. Only a dozen or so blooms left to open: The smell when the sun hits it is amazing. Heard from the workshop today. The Ride on needs the carb rebuilding. New Oil filter and spark-plug and of course oil. Something in the carb broke and the engine sucked a liter petrol into the sump. £250 and a further weeks wait. Guess I'm going for a walk with a lawn mower tomorrow... grr...- Ian M

Have enough bother with deer coming in and nibbling the bushes! sheep are even worse. Geese! no thanks have enough of them in the fields around the house. More of the Rhodos as they bloom. Bare soil! have to do something about that! The twiggy bush is a Korean Kornel that we moved last autumn, its doing well. We 'acquired' some primroses the other day so popped them in here. This is the 'other white' rhodo by the way. The two Japanese Maples...- Ian M

So this cool and rainy spring early summer has been kind to the rhodo's this year. They are opening nice and slow and lasting long. Last year it was direct from frost to 20C everything opened at once and done in a week! so it seamed.. So far: This is always the first to open, we have two one...- Ian M

After I put the decals on that is. :flushed: Some Micro sol is now sitting and shrinking the decals down nice and snug to the surface. Once I am happy with them I'll seal them down and then do the washes.:tongue-out2:- Ian M

Well I got my mask set so I took a well earned break* and got back to the bench. Pretty basic instructions but its not rocket science is it. Just have to figure out which bit is what. Then it goes quite quick. Rather funny as the mask looks like the Dark earth but the pattern is reversed...- Ian M

Wet AND windy. Who'd have guessed it! After a minor explosion in a masking tape factory, I got some colour on the topside. So a bit of time for that to cure then camo time... Hurricanes are a pain in that you cant put the canopy on until after you have painted... I guess you could paint the bit...- Ian M

Right then I thought I would just throw a bit of Azur blue on the undersides and let that cure for a day or so while I get on with something else. So today I got the filler sanded more or less good and painted the tyres on the wheels. Painted a new exhaust as no one noticed that the photo above has two different types.:smiling5: One's a fish tail, the other a round pipe. Don't be to hard on yourselves I didn't notice until today...- Ian M
