If anyone fancies this kit be careful of the cannons. Despite The parts for the wing having very well defined positions where to drill, and having drilled them in said positions the cannons still pointed the wrong way- they pointed outwards and not parallel as they should. Well. Bismarck has had a roll in the masking tape and is ready for a few splotches of white. If we are not doing much after lunch I might paint it, otherwise tomorrow. I have left the 'bottoms' off the masking so I can fade the white onto the red of the hull avoiding the masking lip as the tape...- Ian M

I was in my 'local' hobby shop yesterday. Thought I would try these out for the shiny ones. The paints should be reasonably pong free, but the lacquer I was told open the windows and turn the spray both on high AND wear a mask. Hmm. I also got some glue, filler and flexi masking in 2mm. Hardly... -

Go on have a guess at what I have been doing today... No? OK I'll tell you. Masking.... Jeessssss... ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
