Looking for 1/48 WWII seated German Infantry with steel helmets

Like the title says, I'm looking for some WWII German infantry figures with steel helmets as passengers in a vehicle. Any suggestions guys?

When you said magnet fishing, I thought that was an odd pastime for a grown-up!

    Gern's Zvezda 1/35 T-35

Some progress on this. Got the turrets finished apart from the MG's and any weathering I do - they will be last 'cos I'll only knock them off if I fit them earlier. Very impressed with the kit as, apart from a few smears of putty on the deck superstructure, I've not needed any at all on the...

    PJ's Tamiya 1/35 T-62A

Some progress. Got the wheels painted. PJ used VMA Nato Black for the tyres, and a circle template and VMA Russian Green for the wheels. Not perfect, but he's done a good job of them. Got some touch -up to do on the sprue attachments. Also got the larger bits fitted to the hull top and...

    PJ's Tamiya 1/35 T-62A

I've had a closer look Jakko and everything I see - except for the gaps shown - tells me the deck fits on top and not inside. The rear plate fits perfectly into the hull with locating tabs on each side and on the underside of the deck. It also fits absolutely flush into the rear deck with the...

    Gern's Zvezda 1/35 T-35

Methinks I'll just put 7 links on each of the idlers and drive sprockets and leave the last link until I assemble the tracks. That's when these pair have stopped ganging up on me!

    Gern's Zvezda 1/35 T-35

Talking of individual track links ... There's a few individual links which are designed to fit around the drive sprocket and idler wheel. These are the instructions: You'll notice both pictures show different numbers of links fitted round the idler wheels - and none around the drive...

    PJ's Tamiya 1/35 T-62A

Hi folks. PJ is making a start on this - at least he will be when this 'erbert shifts! First issue with this old kit is this gap between the hull and top deck. It's because the rear plate is too high. Should PJ trim that down or would it be easier to fit a strip of plasticard inside the hull?

    spanner's Tamiya 1/35 T 62-A

Thought I'd have a quick look at the news after 'erbert b******d off. No such luck! I'll let you get back to your thread now Ron :smiling3:!

    spanner's Tamiya 1/35 T 62-A

Both me and PJ share your thoughts on accuracy Ron. If it says T-62 on the box, as far as we're concerned, that's what we've got! Neither of us is expert enough, or cares enough to spot any inaccuracies. We do need the experts to tell the manufacturers if they get it wrong though. That forces...

    Gern's Zvezda 1/35 T-35

Well, I couldn't wait. Started on this last night - well actually about 3:00 am on Friday morning which counts as last night as I've slept since then. You guys know it's now Saturday but my body tells me it's still early Friday night. Oh the joys of retirement! Go to bed when you're tired, get...

    Gern's Zvezda 1/35 T-35

Found it! Here's my entry: Both me and PJ will probably start our builds on Monday as PJ is busy today. If he gets done early, we'll see. I've got a bit of repair work to do. The two white spots on the hull are where a couple of idler wheel axles have broken off. I'll probably drill them out...

    Bah! Humbug!

What's all this about 'Happy New Year'!? Not so far it ain't! I told you guys about me tripping over one of my cats in mid November. The initial diagnosis was a broken left ankle along with two broken bones in my left foot and three fractured toes on my right foot. I went back for the usual...

    Season's greetings

Despite the title folks, I gotta tell you not to wait for them from me - I don't do Xmas. My only contribution to Xmas was done sometime during the first week of October and it took me nearly 10 minutes! Actually that's not quite true. I've got to do my weekly shop tomorrow so I guess I'll have...

    Pesky pussycats!

I've been a bit quiet this last month. Start of the month I caught a really nasty cold which hung around for about three weeks, then Fri 19th, the day I finally accepted my cold had gone, one of my two miscreant pussy cats - I can't work out which one and they're not saying - managed to trip me...

Look what i bought home from work

Not mine, but my missus managed this a couple of weeks ago: Doesn't look much, but there's two broken bones and a dislocated ankle in there. To add insult to injury, she couldn't move so had to sit on the pavement outside until the ambulance arrived. We called for one at about 8:55 pm. It...

    Fellowship of the ring

Are these 15mm Tim? Very nicely done though whatever scale. I did a set a few years ago in 28mm (not up to your standards) which was supposed to be just an exercise in figures. I was so chuffed with myself that I turned them into a full-blown dio: Apologies for hijacking your thread.
