I wanted to share some pics of a recent visit to a LST docked here on the River in Pittsburgh PA this past weekend. It’s one of three still operating around the globe and the only operational one here in the states. It was very interesting to walk aboard this vessel. I cant imagine what it was... -

Thanks Richard…the figures were actually painted with a moist brushing ( if there is such a technique????) …more so than a dry brushing, but you are right, there were still flaws in the blending that were noticeable and they looked dry brushed…so I went back and did more of a diluted...- Strenko J

I wasn’t totally pleased with the figure painting of the civilians and the blending/shading and highlighting on my first attempt so I went back and tried to soften the variations between colors. good evening gents.. a few more little updates to the jeep and also one to the command car…I found the accessory kit for the command car in the stash while looking for something else…removed the old spare and decided to use the new spare tire with the cover and added some stowage to the front...- Strenko J

Another quick little update. Able to put the roofing on the second building, using a piece of corrugated cardboard that I have found from a package that was delivered. I cut the cardboard into small strips and peeled off part of the back to overlay on top of the next row of tiles. All in all, I...- Strenko J

just a quick update, the armor plating on the Jeep came together better than expected. After a few bends and dry fittings, everything fit well. Continuing to add some additional detail and soon it will be ready for paint. Thanks for watching and hope you all have a wonderful day.- Strenko J
