Cheers Richard Neil - not so sure myself I managed to find my manikin mould that I made a few years back so cast off three sets unfortunately the mould split after the last one and I have no idea what I did with the master - looks like I will be making another at some point :rolling...

Wasn’t happy with the rear left light so stripped it off and started again not perfect but much better second time around the odd cages added around the rear light and the front Notek driving light armature wire CA'd in place - need a little tidying before paint I think it just needs...

cheers Neil thanks Paul, lets hope it turns out ok in the end Jim - in no way am I exempt from the normal problems :smiling5: If a part refuses to stick first time with CA then no amount of additional CA will fix the problem - strip off and clean down (the part, not me) is normally the only...

Cheers Steve - getting there..... added handles and filler caps to the previously assembled cans - the handles will get tidied once the glue sets I have found it is easier to do them once glued in place - when loose they are rather fragile front tow hooks added rear tow hooks also added...

Like you all the meet Mr Snuggle hug and Clara,

Hi Monica - sure you will be able to build up the groundwork then to disguise the height difference :thumb2: Scale the average female height of an Australian woman is reported as 1618mm (5ft 3.7") so if you say this lass is average height and she measures 220mm then that gives 1618/220 = 7.35...

No the watermarks are not on the cd - I have cropped these pics, reduced the resolution and watermarked them to make it obvious where they originated. The cd's (or downloads as they seem to be now - although site hasn't been updated since 2018) generally contain two or three hundred high quality...

Jim - thank you very much. It doesn't matter if yours doesn't have all the details if you enjoyed building it. You can always have another go - try the Hobbyboss one. More detail OOB than the Tamiya yet not stupidly expensive I donned my pith helmet and safari suit and went on an expedition...

Si, Scottie, Richard, Dave - thank you one and all Dave, wouldn't exactly call it a master class but if you can't see any glaring errors then I'm happy :thumb2: Some further small updates..... turret gun mounting rod that sits in the cone mount added from aluminium armature wire before...

Only managed a few small details today the aerial poles - you are supposed to carve the kit brackets off and add the etch ones I decided that the better option would be to just replace the whole thing with brass tubing and add the etch to that the poles in place keyhole cover added to...

added the door mounted storage boxes and etch mods found that Eduard have transposed the numbers for the piano hinges on these boxes and the ones on the rear mudguards as a result I had to trim down the ones for these door boxes as I had already used the shorter ones on the rear boxes...

Jakko/John - I suspected that Tim had something more fiendish in mind.... ....and indeed he did.... Tim - didn't even know what a solder pot was. I had to look that up. I do own a desoldering suction tool though. Bit more trouble, and cost than I want to go to though thanks. Think I will stick...

Tim - how on earth do you fill a pipe with solder? Karl - don't think I would get much sand down it, hole is only about 1mm glue cleaned up on the etch roof cable added to aerial frame guards added around semaphore turn indicators - the attachment points are rubbish and will require...

The shell has had a few more layers and sanding I then gave it a guide coat of black over the white when sanded down the black shows up the imperfections - I then kept sanding down until the black and the dodgy bit vanished this is it after sanding but still in need of cleaning down, which...

Jakko - that's the general idea :thumb2: The spare wheel is an oddity - you would expect them to use the same one like they did with the other parts. Still, it gives us the chance to do a bit of mix and match if we want Neil - could have done but what's the point of having moving features on a...
