    SimonT - Tamiya T34/76

I was just mounting up the parts ready for spraying when I realised that I had forgotten to add the bolt heads to the engine cover grille surround so, 54No. 0.5mm bolt heads later I had this I think that now finishes it off and makes it ready for some paint Here are the bits I forgot to take...

    SimonT - Tamiya T34/76

Luckily Paul I eventually found the correct box :thumb2: the track units dried overnight to leave them nice and solid replaced the missing centre caps that I had knocked off then made some new hubs for the idler wheels - these replace the soft vinyl things that are supplied in the kit (a...

SimonT - Yufan Model - Seal Support Team 75mm

Whilst looking for T34 parts I came across Julie and the Wabbit lurking in a box, untouched for quite some time Started cleaning up some of the, rather shoddy, filler work from last time - i guess i wasn't 100% focussed last time one of the spare rockets had been broken and the shaft lost so i...

Seen Collateral, not seen The Accountant so will keep an eye out for that one Paul :thumb2: finished off the right side track worked towards the front and managed to adjust the idler slightly such that i didn't end up with an odd sized gap this time slight problem now - i have been unable to...

Mike - I rather enjoy reworking these old T34 based kits Richard - cheers Paul - I rather like John Wick. 3 does go a bit weird though John - agreed. The broken hubs are annoying but should be easy enough to fix - I made them before so can make them again Finished off the left track last...

    SimonT - 1/35 Zvezda Stug.IIIB - Bobs StugGB

Thanks Bob - getting there John - no, don't think drinking it would be a good idea. I have re-used my solution to do the remaining links Ta Steve - as they dry out they turn a much paler brown colour, more like the various track primer paints assembled four links last night - took me half an...

    A welcomed break.

regarding access this is a WC62 (no winch) that I saw at a show a few years back judging by the paint wear on these two panels it looks like they probably use the corner of the wheel tray and then swing up on to that corner section of the rear bed Andy - is there an ammo box to go with the...

morning all, spent three and a half hours shoving paint around on this last night unfortunately it is never going to be a masterpiece as my figure painting is not the best and the figure is a bit ropey as well to start with so, bar a bit of final tweaking, a coat of ultra matt and some...

Hi Joe - thank you very much Scottie - impressive, not really, daft, definitely especially when I have a perfectly good Trumpeter 62 sat here Jim - see above :rolling: Richard - there are still one or two bits here and there Steve - possibly a misleading use of the term, track bump stop...

    SimonT - 1/35 Tamiya MG Teams Cosford2020

Thanks all with apologies to all the proper figure painters, the paint has started to fly base essentially done except for adding a dusting of pigments at the end blocked in some main colours on the figure - looks horrible and I doubt it will get any better as it progresses......

    SimonT - 1/35th Tamiya T62 (well worn)

Steven / Al - thanks both. Al,the circle isn't actually circular - the front ends of the bars over the cheek parts are pulled in towards the hull so it is more egg shaped The copper sheet is nice stuff and will no doubt feature on future builds added a few bits to the turret track bump...

took a chisel to this one and made an attempt to carve in some creases and tidy the now solid green goop areas then it went into the paint department for priming one black building and base all a little ragged around the edges but I will give painting a go
