Great there are quite a few inaccuracies Scottie as you would expect for a vintage Tamiya - I did one of these back in 2010 one of the main ones is the position of the deck pieces in relation to the sides of the hull - they sit too proud the ledge they sit on needs scraping to lower the deck...- SimonT

.......part two, the saga continues I cut away the moulded gas mask strap and scraped the various uniform details to sharpen things up as far as possible added the gas mask case and water bottle then added the various straps and belt clips from more sprue card added strap to side of gas...- SimonT

Items you have bought and at the time thought they were a good idea - but never used.
I use one of these all the time - been using since late 1980's and must have cut hundreds if not thousands or circles since wheel rims made the other day the trick is not to use it as sold - turn the blade around or spin it the other way so that you scribe with the back edge of the blade... -

engine finally painted panzer grey mixed with smoke ancillaries painted with a lighter grey pipes and hose clips picked out in black or flat aluminium air filter tops dry brushed white whole thing then got blue for german grey followed with engine grime fans painted flat aluminium then...- SimonT

Rubber pouring took place last night but I am not holding out for too much hope of success Seems my casting rubber has reached the end of its shelf life :sad-face: The open tub wasn't too bad but definitely wasn't as runny as it used to be Unfortunately there wasn't quite enough left to fill...- SimonT
