a little more fettling then it got a coat of primer the cast texture may be a little heavy in places but could always be sanded a little on the resin version if i decide i don't like it so i think it is ready for casting now- SimonT

Morning all, due to the right side of the mantlet aperture having wandered offline I needed to strip it all down made some new side pieces and started building it back up rebuilding the aperture in the correct place - the left side was ok but the right side had to move 1mm to the left...- SimonT

Steven - thanks. Not sure myself but will keep pressing on and see how it turns out Jim - I have a few of these sets from MigAmmo and AK. Just wish I could get them to spray properly made a stencil from thin plastic card and tried spraying the patterns on only had limited success so ended up...- SimonT

Here you go then..... had this set so decided to try it out - three each brown and green shades had a nightmare trying to get it to spray nicely (I only seem able to get a consistent finish with Tamiya) so the finish is not as good as i would have liked - a bit spattery on the edges hope to...- SimonT

managed to fire up the AirViper0.2 and get a fun couple of hours blasting AK's dunkelgelb modulation set at this one looks very light but I know it will tone down considerably later on the tracks were sprayed with the dark base colour from the modulation set as it looked like a nice starting...- SimonT
