    Jim's Hillbilly Halftrack

Thank you John, it is an honor to once again be hanging another set of danglers in their prestigious place of honor. ;) You know, some years back I did entertain the idea of acquiring an M3 "rolling chassis" sans motor and some other essentials. But life being what life can be, it never came...

    Hunger Knows Not Fear

Bread or bullets, makes no difference to her anymore. But she is lucky because being in a relatively quiet sector of the front these soldiers have their weapons inside the vehicle to keep them clean and dry. She will get her bread.

    War Pigs

Now in darkness world stops turning. As the war machine keeps churning. Day of judgement God is calling. On their knees the war pigs crawling. Begging mercy for their sins. Satan laughing spreads his wings.

    My Little Bear

Yes Ian, it is a common snapping turtle native to the lower 48 (states). In our southern states there are also alligator snappers which get much larger than the common snapper. The common snapper is much more aggressive and will actively hunt down prey, the alligator species is much more docile...

    My Little Bear

That's his name given by my youngest granddaughter, found him while cutting the lawn around one of our ponds. His shell was about 2 inches long at the time, thank God I saw him before he was shredded. He started out in a 10 gallon tank, now he is in a 75 gallon tank with a powerful filtration...

    Misery Loves Company

Wet, cold and miserable, now this! Setting is somewhere wet, cold and miserable, probably somewhere on the Eastern front. Will be placed on a small muddy base with some ponchos and two disgruntled troopers wearing rain gear and wrapped in a tarp sitting in tractor. Heir Luetnant seems not so...

    Imagination

I myself am not a technocrat when it comes to super detailing, To me depth of color and subtle but brutal weathering (if that makes sense) lends itself to my rendition of "reality". Lighting and photographing in such a way as to create "scale" and mood, atmosphere if you will. To me light would...

    Tamiya 'FAMO'

UPDATE: OK, decided this will be a "Jim's scrap yard build". As we filter through the vast WW2 vehicle graveyard of my mind we shall search out the parts and components needed to try to put on of these babies together. Should be fun and a different way of doing things, we'll see how it goes...
