I've highlighted the water movement, so apart from a bit of tweaking, the bottom half of the water course is done. I've also added some slabs of busted road to below the water surface and abutting the tank.... Cheers and thanks for taking a blimp. Ron- spanner570

Using silicone and an old nail, I've started to add a bit of life to the river. Most of the turbulence will be on the left side, due to the rubble and tank restricting the water flow. Cheers. Ron- spanner570

Thanks Graeme. Yes indeed, it was nasty stuff. No wonder all that was on the can read 'Inflammable'! Update.... I've loose fitted the 'water' and slotted in the tank. It doesn't have to be a neat fit in the hole as any gaps will be filled with moving water. Next I'll stick the surface...- spanner570

Nasty stuff huh? Nothing on the tin regarding content. Just an explosive warning! The wife uses it for spraying twigs and loads of other 'applications' and hasn't melted anything - Yet! Thanks for the encouraging posts, chaps. This'll make you all laugh - It did me...... i needed a green colour to first coat the tank. Anything would do. Thanks boys. Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey..... Colours added to the river banks. I've also started to sort out the water element. I don't like resin water one bit. Too much prep. and general messing about with and then the stuff doesn't settle to my liking... To each his own though, eh...- spanner570

Thanks for the positive posts chaps..... Sides built up and yet to be 'finger nailed' to texture the rock surface. I've added the underwater rubble. i put in some foam board to the underside to bulk the stuff out nearer the water surface. ...a bit too much I fear , so I might scrape some out...- spanner570

The base. I've added the river bank and weir. made with scraps of polystyrene blocks. The sides will be built up using the same stuff. The bridge sections are loose fitted 'till I get things summat like - he hopes. The weir structure is 'Bent' to face upstream. Cheers and thanks for...- spanner570

I've started to add some muck to the road section of the bridge. A soaking of PVA and then the stuff sprinkled from a dizzy height. Don't be fussy just where...- spanner570

Thanks for your encouraging posts chaps. Here are the two bits of bridge with the start of a bit of colouring. I always use those cheap pound shop acrylics for any diorama work, saving my good paints for plastic. i work the first coat into any stonework joints; then allow this to dry and then...- spanner570

Here's the 1/72 Russian tank I'm now using. I'm not bothered if its not deployed in the Ukraine. It's near enough for purpose. Not a bad kit, but very over priced for so few parts and as can be seen on the sprues, the tracks and half the wheels are in one piece! Still, it will be...- spanner570
