Latest Acquisitions (2023)
Decals for the KT I picked up last weekend, accidently ordered the wrong set, which was about a fiver cheaper, but got sent the right set for the same price. The unit badges are just squares for some reason but I'll not complain. -

Back from the NIMA show, only two traders with nothing that caught my eye, but met one of the Ireland IPMS members who had this for me, he wanted 30 euros, I gave him £30 and still felt I was robbing him. For a big project slowly coming together.... -

Was eBaying other night and there was a Eduard resin cockpit going cheap so thinking I had the correct kit in the stash bought it without checking......... So I had to buy a Bf109G-5....... So I bought this...... -

Most expensive Hachette yet?
A 1/2 scale, yes one in two, Alien xenomorph.....only £100 a month. Mind you it doesn't seem to be lots of parts. Still going to be north of £1200... -

Karls Tamiya 1/24 Caterham Super 7
A Ford Cosworth 4 cylinder 1.3l engine, complete with two dual throated Weber carburetors, developing 83bhp at 6000 rpm. Coupled to the 4 speed gearbox capable of propelling the car to just a bit more than 100mph. Doesn't seem much by today's standards but considering the car is a little bit...- KarlW

So we have a box, note the obvious sign of the vintage..... Some tyres, clear parts and chromed parts. And a bit of kit included etch for the grill. And then two sprues, one white and one black. The decals, not getting used for this build though. And finally the lettering set I'm using...- KarlW

A break from RAF stuff with a cuppa 38(t)
Tamiya decals behaving well enough with this kit, but then I'm not asking much..... And rusted up the exhaust, need to add some paint back onto some points, then maybe some rust pigments, but don't feel I need them here, I think the added texture is enough.- KarlW
