Latest Acquisitions (2023)
Cheers Ian, I've ran an original Insignia (2011 plate) for the last 6 yrs and apart from a couple of things she's given me 99% trouble free motoring, ..thankfully she's being passed on to Mrs L, so she'll still be in the family so to speak.. Here she is.. -

Not model related in any way...(unless you count the fact it's a newer model than I already own)....but yesterday I went mad and threw just under 10 grand at this and it'll be arriving on Tuesday.. -

Finally cracked on and got the base finished... a couple of small things to deal with and I'm gonna be calling this build done....(thank god I hear you cry..lol). Ran out of coffee stirrers.. and got sooo close to binning this whole idea, but from knowhere a cunning plan was formed...- langy71

Right then... lets get cracking on this build and get it past the finishing line, Started on a base, just a few coffee stirrers, some closed cell pollyboard, and a no real idea what I'm doing but the moggling gods love a tryer.. It's still a work in progress but so far so good ish ... only time...- langy71

Help me 3D printers...you're my only hope
Hi guys, a bit of a weird request, I'm trying to finish my 'zero' dio and need a 1/48 Japanese carrier deck section, having spent a fair few hours wandering all over the various internet model shops it would seem this item..... Jap carrier deck.. is either out of stock all over the world or...- langy71

And....... He's finished .... apart from a flat coat..(maybe)..I really enjoyed throwing paint at this guy, he's turned out better than I thought he would for a 1/48 figure given that there are no paint colours mentioned on the packaging other than the basic, brown, green flesh..etc.. p.s...- langy71

had a quick hour laying down some thin basecoats, these are barely paint, more like a thin wash ... plenty of tidying up will be needed, and the lifejacket will be more darker green... but it's a work in progress......- langy71

Right I'm finally back..... Next up.. a splash or two of paint on this beauty of a figure... Already cleaned it up, washed it, and thrown some tonal shading on it to help with the shadows on the final colours..- langy71

Freshly delivered from Hannants..(cheaper than all the one's I found over the various site , rain forest, fleabay..etc)... Now I can restart work on my Zero for the GB..
