    NEW TIGER 1 KNOCKED OUT.

This is a rework of a knocked out Tiger 1 that we use at home and away events to house a sound system for battlefield background sounds, what we wanted is the ability to also smoke. Now, the first idea was to use a smoke machine running of a battery pack and on/off switch...problem, the chances...

    WALKING GUN PLATFORM.

I have put this in this section as it is futuristic but I suppose it could also go in the military section. This is fairly large and I wanted it go with my 1/16 RC tanks as something a bit different. It started out as a toy and I scrapped some of the top parts, a lot of kitbashing, measuring...

Some pics of one of our members 1/16 M8 fast tractor, this is a remodelled Pershing lower hull with a scratch made upper, the dozer and rear tail lift are all functioning and it is fully RC. This model was the gold winner so a great end to a great weekend.

    DONCASTER MODEL ENGINEERING SHOW 2019.

Here is a few pics from the Doncaster model engineering show this last weekend. I attended with our clubs military section, we had our own area for display and 'playing' :tongue-out2: Went down great with loads of interest from the public and other clubs. Left me knackered though and in a lot...

    SHED BEAST

I think I found the culprit who has been pinching modelling parts... It sits there staring at me...and when I move I find a piece has disappeared!

    1/16 T-72

Latest RC model, a T-T2. Repainted, weathered. All new electronics in it, what a pain they were, fried one MFU board  Been faffing with them for the past two weeks. So, she now moves, turns, turret turns, gun elevation, machine gun, main gun and engine sounds.

    1/10 RC OFF ROADER.

My health means that I need ever larger scales...much to the wife's sorry :blow-kiss: I am more into RC stuff now, mainly tanks, and RC vehicles. I wanted something I could just go off a wandering :smiling5: So, when I want to just take it easy climbing over stuff I have my 1/10 Toyota...

    1/16 RC URAL + Trailer.

Hi guys. This is my 1/16 Ural that started out as RC but needed to be made better. New RC components, metal driveshafts, servo, speed controller etc. LED lights that dim when fog lights are operated. Trailer made from a spare truck bed and ali frame, rear lights added and the trailer can be...

    1/16-1/18 BRASS PAK 40

I have been working on this for weeks-just a bit at a time-damn near killed me lol. It is made from brass scrap, copper nails and solder. Ignore the wheels as these are proving to be a pain to source so, I am looking into 1/16 P-III metal idlers and adapting, the axles will be retapped to...

    Chuffing cat :(

Well, my RC range safety boat will never see water...well, not by me. As it is large we moved some things from the side of the stairs and had it on a coffer under a cover. I heard Jo telling him to get off followed by lots of 'OH NO!'. He had jumped all over the top, broken masts, lighting...

1/12 SCALE RC RANGE SAFETY BOAT.

This is my latest edition in water craft. I bought this off a club member, and I am so pleased I did. She is a fibreglass hull and top, twin stainless steel shafts and brass screws, twin rudders and her design is as a pilot boat or in this case a range safety boat. She has full working lights...

    BLAKES SEVEN SCORPIO.

My lad bought me this a couple of years ago so, hopefully, I will be getting around to getting it together after the RC events are over in the next few weeks.

    1/16 RC ZTZ 99.

Finally finished my RC ZTZ 99, a homegrown Chinese third generation MBT. It was stock when I got and had a few pieces missing so, accessory pack ordered from...China, only place I could get one from. I repainted and added the missing bits, I also added a turret NBC filter to the rear, some...

    MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

I used to be drummer, many, many years ago and I know the Right Honourable his Royal Ronness, is also a bin lid hitter. When I became ill and my disability getting worse the drums went away and were finally sold. I have missed playing music and knew that I have not the space or the physical...

    OUR MODEL CLUB 'TANK SECTION'

My model boat club last year voted for us to have our model tank section when we have our open days. We have our own tent and area and I thought I would share a couple of pics from last Sunday. The buildings are the ones that I painted, still have some more to do but this weather has been too...

    1/16 RC M19 MMGC

Hi guys. This is my latest RC tank. It started out as a 1/16 RC Walker Bulldog but as the M19 is a Chaffee chassis the Bulldog is a close second. The top is scratch made and the turret turns but the Bofors are manual in elevation, she runs on 2.4 Ghz.

RC MODEL OF A ARAB DHOW.

This is my Arab Dhow. She is plank on frame and is RC. I have kept her tidy as she is made from various soft and hard woods and looks too good for me to rust :D Besides, rust doesn't rust...damn. I have added embellishments, the roof cover, tyres and rugs (these are actually stored on deck...

    ANOTHER SUNKEN U-BOAT.

Thanks to Ron, I got his Revell U-99 model and did what I always tend to do with these kits...yep, make it a wreck. I find this kind of modelling relaxing as it is so easy to do and mistakes or blemishes are hidden away. The boat was cleaned and then some slight damage added to hull...

    COPD.

Today I have a confirmed diagnoses that I have COPD, years working in dusty environments coupled with smoking and modelling-spraying etc have taken there toll. The past few years I have noticed my lung junction changing but put it down to age etc, I started to make sure I always wore a mask...

RC MODEL OF 'TYSTIE ' STEAM LAUNCH.

Last year was a turbulent time in my RC boat club, the treasurer that had done it for many. many years sadly passed away and it was up in the air as to if we could get someone to replace her, we are all middle aged and older and many have disabilities, illness etc...luckily someone stepped...
