I notice on social media that pictures of the upgraded Challenger are being posted. Wonder how long it will be before the new updated kit will be on sale! Not a lot of visual changes to the CH2. -

Airfix 1/48 Gannet
They're quite effective when fired in salvo mode!!! Aiming one or even two, your chances of a 'hit' was minimal. So a spread of RP's was more effective. Used to get Harriers and other aircraft firing at ships towed splash targets with good effect. Also witnessed them to good effect on Salisbury...- Waspie

An evening update. Removed the clamps from the seats. I think they'll need a bid of final tidying up. Trimming the sides. But I think it captures roughly the correct texture. What do you think? A bit more fiddling today. I actually tackled the seats today!! Pic 1 Under that blob of SWMBO's cotton wool is a seat. I think I may have overdone the amount needed!! First was a blob of PVA over the seat base. Then pressed the cotton wool into place!! I did five but only four will be used...- Waspie

Only a little progress today. (SWIMBO - shopping = Me taxi driver and dog walker!) No work on the plastic at all. BUT!! It was out digital calibers and measuring the storage cabinet that stores the avionics boxes. Works out, H 5.4mm, Depth 8.8mm and Width 7.0mm. So looking to source something...- Waspie

Finally, out of the blocks! The vast bulk of paint has arrived, (thanks SMS/John). As a result I made a start today. Not a huge start but at least its started.
