Airbrush, (Fengda) help!
I have acquired a pair of A/B's from @SteveT. One, the Gaahleri pistol grip A/B I have managed to find and download the manual so I know what and how to clean and lube. Todays labour! Starboard and underside bibs and bobs fitted. Finished off a couple of bits on the port side to. Thanks for the harness tips Dave, I do have a couple of excess harness's from my Sea King build, both 1/48 so a good match there!! Re the rotor heads, yeah, there is a couple of cogs which allow both heads to act independently of each other!! Dia 1 Gearing How it fits in with the heads. Dia 2- Waspie

Little bit done. Sprayed bucket seats x 4. Also, hand painted seat back inserts. Added decals to IP. Only way was to invert, (back to front!!) the decal so it would fit the shape. (My only criticism to date). Also added some illegitimate decals to the co-pilots side IP. and also the deckhead...- Waspie

After studying some internal images of a Helix I have modified my paint scheme a tad. So today has been spent with my magnifiers on and doing some delicate paint work on cockpit switching and such!! 1/72 HMS Andromeda (circa. 1976)
Have to disagree there Dave. Tribals, (Type 81’s). Were the best looking frigates of the 60’s - 80’s. Open turrets fore and aft. Combined steam and gas turbines. (COSAG). They could be at sea in no time thanks to the G6 gas turbine. Did time on both Tribals and Leanders, give me a Tribal for...- Waspie

Not a lot achieved on the Helix today but I do have freshly mown lawns and a seagull :poop: free car!!! All I managed was to clean up and assemble the starboard stabiliser. ( I did remove the two fuselage half from the sprue and clean up to check the fitting of the stab's.) nice tight fit...- Waspie

Only a wee bit of progress today. (SWIMBO's list came into effect!). Dry fitted the rotor heads to the assembly that would be the gearbox.
