I haven't been idle these last few days!! Been in & out of the paint shop, the roof panel and part of the bonnet came out in an allergic reaction!!! :flushed: :flushed:;) Probably something to do with the primer and top coat not being compatible - eventually found it was the Tamiya Flat Black...- prichrd1

Hooked points - inevitable?
That's where I've been going wrong!!!! :flushed: All these years modelling - and applying paint with me finger!! :flushed: ;):flushed: But seriously - never seem to get "hooked points" on me brushes, always clean them immediately after use in water or thinners depending on paint used. Completed yesterday after giving it a final matt coat. This kit was a real pleasure to build. clearly labelled parts and instruction booklet, very little flash. Painted with a mix of Lifecolor & MrColor acrylics with the odd splash of Humbrol, for good measure. Little bit of weathering - well I...- prichrd1

Have now given the base and pedestal the first brush coat of Lifecolor dunkelgelb, seems to have covered the primer fairly well. I will give it a second coat later today let it dry overnight. Continuing the saga, here is where I am up to at the moment - Part 3 is assembly of the four long things that go bang!!!! There are seven pieces to each gun in total, the detail is very intricate on these, small seam line along the barrel. I just ran the sanding stick over the length once...- prichrd1
