    The Johannes Kepler.

Well on the way with this, taken me a while to get stuff together. All scratch made from scrap, model parts, sweet tins, plasticard. Still loads to do as some of the decals used from light relief panels have lifted, shall redo these.

    My New Wheels.

Got my new power-chair today a Rascal 320! My scooter was okay but this easier to stow in the car and is smaller so making shopping or just out and about a lot easier. Has a 12 mile range and does up to 4mph. So, watch ya feet!

    The Johannes Kepler

This is a ship from my youth. It is featured in the Sci-Fi book Spaceship Medic by Harry Harrison who also did the Stainless Steel Rat. It is described as a Lunar to Mars liner and is dumbbell in shape. There are no pictures only some descriptions, so this is going to be 90% guesswork and what I...

    A Very Nice Xmas Surprise!

I bought myself the Space 1999 Moonbase Alpha kit just before Xmas, hoping to have some fun in lighting it. Was not expecting any other plastic as I had not asked for it...then when I opened my prezzies... Well excited, three kits I have been after.

    Moonbase Alpha

I have ordered the MPC Moonbase Alpha from Space 1999. Depending how small it is and how dodgy the old hands are I am going to attempt to light this...gulp. Comes with Eagles too so should be fun...I hope.

    5 Hour Moon Shuttle Challenge.

This is a 5 hour build challenge. I could only use: One shower gel bottle, whatever bits I could get into the palm of my hand and 5 paints. I came up with a well worn, so what's new:D, Earth/Moon shuttle. Just a bit of fun really and not the best finish. A piccie as...

I'm not that bad a modeller after all.

I found these pictures from the TV series Red Dwarf. These are from another company that updated the original model. Take a look and don't forget, this ship is 3ft long approx. I was surprised by the painting/weathering and finish. I reckon my space junk looks just as good and mine is only 10...

    WIGAN COMIC CON.

Me and the lovely Tabatha... :D My mate in his Stargate Atlantis uniform. The lads. I also spoke to Jacqueline Pearce of various films and Blake's Severn fame-she played Servalan. She was walking back through the hall next to me and I noticed her and just said...

    Driving licence

Having lost my driving licence earlier this year due to ill health I had to wait 6 months to see if the treatment for my sleep aponea has worked sufficiently. Good news, went to see the consultant and he has told me that I am okay with the CPAC machine and doing really well, all levels are now...

COLLEGE COMMISION-DEEP SPACE EXPLORER-LOST IN SPACE.

This is a commision build for the college, they wanted a deep space explorer that was lost in space, had to look worn and used. I also added a meteorite on the front they captured an hollowed out. This is all scratch made from plastic and spare model parts. Still loads to do in weathering...

    Back modelling...sort of.

I have been popping in and seeing the stunning builds for you all. Have returned to the shed as was asked to do another sci-fi model for the college. This one is a very early Star-Trek-esc deep space explorer, got lost, lost all communication and drifted around-battered and worn with a...

    LEAVING MODELLING.

Hi guys and gals. Just wanted to let you know that I will not be on as much and have stopped modelling for the time being. I am just too ill at the moment, back at the docs on 3rd December for a pain medication/treatment review. I just cannot focus on much at the moment and modelling...

    2 Apache Helo's.

Was in the kitchen with the back door open and heard a deep 'wup, wup' growl. My wife asked what the noise was, we looked out and saw two Apache's, fairly low thunder past, a real sight. Si:)

    MACKCORP MK I CARGO POD.

I have finally finished making the scratch made cargo pod. I left this for months as I just could not be bothered with it or modelling but, this is going to feature in a small Sci-Fi short film done by the the local college. It isn't good enough for close-up work but it is going to be in the...
