I've made a start withe decal masks. A little difficult to get which parts to apply first as is important to follow the correct sequence no instructions were provided by Montex. Well I've hung the JU88 from a picture hook(the hook is held by a 4cm pin) using 8lb breaking strain fishing line and I think it looks ok. If it stays put then I think it's the way to go for hanging larger planes when your limited for space. If it falls off I'll be buying a new Ju88:astonished:- Vaughan

I have spent the last few days Klear coating and laying down the decals which there are great number of. I gave up trying to used the supplied decals for the no step areas as it was impossible to slide them off the decal sheet in a straight line and then position them. I spent a day masking ready to spray the splinter camo and then over the last two days I have been spraying RLM 70. All's looking good with only a few areas that needing touching up and some over spray to sort out too. Next will a coat of Klear and then onto the decals.- Vaughan

Well after several hours this morning and a whole 17mm bottle of RML71 I have got the first coat down. Doubtless there will be some touchups needed. Neil as far as I can remember I had no real issues with the build. The wing tips had to have some plastic card inserted because of the gap but that's about all. I've now started the mammoth task of masking she's a big bird. Looks like I will need buy some more Tamiya tape though!!- Vaughan

The float is now secure taping seems to have worked it appears in line with the fuselage. I have started on the rigging all is threaded and ready for securing with super glue maintaining the tension will the difficult bit.- Vaughan

Have attached the main float to the fuselage using the stand and tape to hold all in place. Hopefully all is lined up correctly? Paul thanks, the issue with the canopy is that it is made up of of several parts and unfortunately you can see the joins that have internal tabs.
